    Monte Irvin Orange Park is located in the City of Orange on the East Orange boarder, the beautiful 47.63 acre park is situated between Central Avenue and Center and Harrison Streets. It serves the Essex County community with athletic fields, walking paths and a playground. The park hosts a variety of free concerts annually. 

    Branch Brook Park is the nation’s first county park located on the East Orange and Newark boarder. The park is noted for the largest collection of cherry blossom trees in the United States and is celebrated with an annual festival. The Newark Light Rail runs on the park’s west side providing access from the park to downtown Newark, Newark Penn Station and shopping & dining in the Newark Ironbound section. At 360 acres it is the largest developed park in Essex County and offers athletic fields, basketball, tennis and bocce ball courts, an urban farm, a senior citizen center, a jogging loop and children’s garden.

    The South Mountain Recreation Complex is less than a ten minute ride from most of the Benjamin H Realty communities and is located in West Orange. It’s another jewel of the County Park System with activities for all ages including the Turtle Back Zoo, Codey Arena, MiniGolf Safari, the children’s Regatta Playground and Paddleboarding. The Complex sits next to the South Mountain Reservation, a 2,000 acre natural reserve offering open space, picnic areas, marked hiking trails, paddle boats and some spectacular views.
